This is a Hairstylist Assistant position perfect for someone who is organized, upbeat, and genuinely passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience. You'll be a vital part of ensuring every client feels pampered and perfectly cared for from the moment they arrive until they leave. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Welcome & Prep: Warmly greet clients, prepare them for their services, and ensure a seamless start to their appointment.

• Stylist Support: Provide efficient and proactive assistance to the stylist throughout various services, helping to maintain a smooth flow.

• Shampooing: Deliver relaxing and thorough shampoos that enhance the client's overall experience.

• Color Support: Apply and process glosses to finish a color service.

• Drying & Styling: Provide clients with the final touches of their service with hot tool styling.

• Seamless Checkout: Assist clients with check-out and re-booking, recommend take-home products used during their service, and ensure a smooth, professional conclusion to their visit.

• Salon Presentation: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the salon during and after each client appointment.

• Content Creation: Assist with capturing engaging behind-the-scenes moments, photos, and videos for our Instagram and other social media platforms.

• Advanced Styling Support (After Training): Once trained, you'll skillfully mix color, perform toning services, prepare for extension applications, assist with back-end work, and expertly blow-dry and style clients' hair according to the stylist's instructions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a salon environment is a plus, but not required if you demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.

• Licensure/Education: Must be a licensed stylist or currently enrolled in cosmetology school.

• Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members.

• Passion: A genuine passion for brunette color, hair extensions, and creating outstanding client experiences.

• Social Media: Social media savviness and an eye for aesthetics are highly valued.

• Work Environment: Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a professional yet fun solo suite setting.

• Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
